BeaverMatic's temper furnaces are specifically designed for drawing, tempering and stress relieving applications. These units serve as companions to the complete line of BeaverMatic Internal Quench Furnaces. However, BeaverMatic tempers are compatible for use with all standard IQF equipment. FEATURES:
Heating
Radiant tubes are used for indirect fired furnace, a single burner and baffles for direct fired units. Temperature uniformity of +/- 10oF is achieved through the use of a re-circulating fan. Combustion systems comply with FM or IRI safety standards.
Control Systems
The basic control systems consists of a recorder, controller and an over temperature alarm. Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems are available.
Construction
BeaverMatic tempers are of rugged gauge steel design. They are gas-tight for nitrogen atmosphere, the use of which applies to indirect-fired and electrically-heated furnaces only.
Insulation
The heating chamber is lined either with high quality insulating fire brick or ceramic fibre insulation, as specified.
Hearth
6” stainless steel rollers are used to transfer loads in and out of the movement.
Door
The pneumatically operated front door has a gravity seal and is lined with ceramic fibre insulation.
